(Sterkoder Mechanical Workshop)
Formed in Kristiansund in the 19th century as an engine builder and ship repairer. Moved to concentrating on ship building in 1966 and acquired Storvik Mekaniske Verksted in 1982. Taken over by the Umoe Group in 1991 and discontinued ship building in 2003.
