P&O North Sea Ferries
Founded in 1965 as North Sea Ferries, a joint venture between P&O and Nedlloyd Lijnen. Nedlloyd's share was acquired by P&O in 1996 and the company was renamed P&O North Sea Ferries, incorporating the Felixstowe operations of P&O European Ferries. The Felixstowe route was sold to Stena Line in 2002 and the remainder of the company merged with P&O European Ferries and P&O Stena Line in 2003 to form P&O Ferries.
