Horten Verft
Horten, Norway
Established as Horten Verft in 1818 as the Norwegian naval base, later named Marinens Hovedverft. Following the opening of a new naval base at Bergen in 1963, the site was renamed Horten Verft again in 1968 and used for commercial shipbuilding until its closure in 1987.
